University of Connecticut

In 2024, Eyeglue partnered with the University of Connecticut’s School of Pharmacy to produce a compelling video highlighting the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare. Through interviews with professors and students, the video explores how personal backgrounds and professional endeavors shape the future of pharmacy and patient care.

The piece underscores the impact of representation in healthcare, the historical challenges of bias in medicine, and ongoing efforts to foster inclusivity within the pharmacy profession. It showcases initiatives like implicit bias training, the revival of Diversity Week, and community-driven events that celebrate multicultural perspectives.

This project reflects UConn’s commitment to cultivating a more equitable healthcare and educational system—one where every patient feels seen, heard, and well-cared for.
